Elena
BĂLGRĂDEAN
Elena joined our school in its very first year of operation, initially working in the administrative office before being promoted to Head Librarian and IB Librarian.
A remarkably versatile and meticulous member of our team, Elena is our resident wizard when it comes to the many digital platforms, educational resources and library databases used by our teachers and students. From ManageBac and InThinking to Revision Village and numerous other learning platforms, she ensures that our community has seamless access to the resources it needs.
Elena is also the undisputed monarch of our library, which she manages with an iron hand in a velvet glove. Every book is meticulously catalogued, every resource accounted for, and every detail kept firmly under control. As if that were not enough, she has an extraordinary command of budgets and keeps a watchful eye on our annual expenditure on books, subscriptions and educational resources.
Dedicated, precise and exceptionally dependable, Elena has become an invaluable part of our school community.
