Larisa is a Secondary School Psychology Teacher at the British International School of Timisoara. Quietly confident, calm, and highly dependable, she brings a deep sense of professionalism, empathy, and discretion to her classroom, creating a safe and supportive space where students feel heard and understood.
A graduate of the Faculty of Psychology at the West University of Timisoara with both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in the field, Larisa uses her background to guide young learners through the nuances of human behavior, emotional intelligence, and self-discovery. Her composed manner, active listening skills, and admirable talent for de-escalating complex situations make her a reassuring presence for students navigating the developmental challenges of adolescence.
In her teaching, Larisa approaches every lesson with thorough organization, clarity, and thoughtful judgment. She is approachable, reliable, and deeply committed to fostering critical thinking and well-being among her students, making complex psychological theories accessible and relevant to daily life.
Known for her warm sense of humor and keen eye for fashion, Larisa adds an effortless touch of elegance and positivity to the secondary school team. Outside her core teaching responsibilities, she pursues her passion for pottery and runs a creative activity where students explore hands-on crafting, making charming and surprisingly detailed clay creations. She is also an accomplished baker, celebrated across the staffroom for the delicious homemade cookies she kindly shares with colleagues.
The School Leadership Team translates the school’s vision into everyday practice, guiding the academic direction of the school and supporting students, staff and families.
British International School of Timișoara was founded on the vision of offering students an international education and meaningful opportunities for the future.
