Mihai
LAPOȘI

Mihai is our IT Technician and a valued member of the IT Department, where he works closely with Alina to keep the school’s many systems, devices, printers, cables, screens, and occasionally mysterious technological incidents under control.

Originally from Alba Iulia, Mihai is a proud ambassador for his home city, which he firmly believes to be not only the centre of Romania, but also a strong contender for the title of most liveable city every single year. A graduate in Computer Science from Alba Iulia, he began his professional life in the railway sector before discovering his passion for computers and moving into the world of IT.

In school, Mihai is constantly on the move. Whether he is fixing a printer, changing toner, supporting a teacher with a device, setting up equipment, or responding to the latest urgent request, colleagues are very likely to bump into him somewhere on campus. His role requires patience, practical thinking, and a willingness to solve problems quickly, all of which he brings to his daily work.

Mihai is hardworking, reliable, and always ready to support teachers, students, and staff members with their technical needs. He has also earned the unofficial double distinction of being both one of the calmest members of staff and, rather impressively, one of the school’s best drivers.

Outside school, Mihai is also a proud father to a teenage son, a role he speaks about with great pride and dedication.
