Alina leads the highly successful IT Department at the British International School of Timisoara and has become an indispensable part of daily school life. A graduate in Computer Science Engineering, she combines strong technical expertise with an exceptionally warm and approachable personality, a rather rare combination in the world of IT.

Widely regarded as one of the happiest and most positive members of staff, Alina is always ready to assist teachers, students, and support staff with the endless array of technological challenges that naturally arise within a busy international school. Whether solving urgent technical issues, rescuing forgotten passwords, or calmly dealing with devices that appear to have “developed personalities of their own”, she approaches every situation with patience, efficiency, and good humour.

Known for her quick reactions and remarkable reliability, Alina is very much the person colleagues instinctively turn to whenever something stops working, which, in a school environment, tends to happen approximately every seven minutes.

Beyond her technical expertise, Alina is also known for her genuinely caring nature and her ability to offer thoughtful advice not only on IT matters, but often on life in general. Many would say she knows a little bit about everything, and somehow always manages to find a solution.

Outside school, she enjoys spending time outdoors and frequently escapes into nature with her caravan during weekends. Above all, she is also a proud mother to a blue eyed, blonde haired young boy who undoubtedly keeps her just as busy and energetic outside school as she is within it.
