Alina is our Financial Officer and one of the long standing pillars of the British International School of Timisoara. She has been with the school since the very beginning, having joined even before the official opening, and has carefully looked after the financial side of the school ever since.

An extremely versatile and capable professional, Alina deals with a complex and wide ranging set of financial responsibilities, ensuring that this essential part of school life is managed with accuracy, discretion, and confidence. Her work requires both technical expertise and sound judgement, qualities she brings consistently to everything she does.

During her time at BIST, Alina also stepped into the classroom to teach IB Business Management, an experience she has openly said she greatly enjoyed. This is perhaps unsurprising, given her ability to combine practical financial knowledge with clarity, structure, and real world understanding.

Before returning to Timisoara, Alina spent part of her career in Canada and Germany, experiences which added further depth to her professional background and outlook.

Outside school, Alina is a proud mother to two lovely girls. Her professionalism, versatility, and long standing commitment to the school make her an invaluable member of the BIST community.
